RHODES SCHOLARS
220 IN RESIDENCE. Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 5. The Rhodes Trust in a statement covering the year 1923-24 says that 220 scholars are in residence. Sixty are working at natural science and medicine, fifty-seven are studying law, and the others are distributed among a dozen subjects. The value of the .scholarships would presently he increased by an annual bonus of £SO; but even then' they would bo insufficient to cover expenses for the full year, including vacations and the holder must be prepared to supplement the amount by approximately"£so a year.—Reuter.
