MINISTER’S EXPLANATION. Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 3. Sir Samuel Hoaro, Air Minister, in an interview regarding the. air expansion programme, said it was the same as when ho was previously in office. He antiAnaled that the■’ programme would in-iffty-two squadrons for home defence., eighteen of which would be fully formed by the end of the year, while five reserve squadrons were 'expeel cd to bo completed in 1925. One of the, chief aims, the Minister said, was an extension of the route to India and Australia, which the Government had constantly in view as part of its scheme for closer intei course and consultation with the dominions. The Estimates would pra/ide foi financial encouragement in the establishment of aeroplane clubs. —Reuter.
