Fire destroyed the joinery works of Messrs John Storrie, Ltd. The damage is estimated at £20,000. August 16. (Received August 16, at 10 a.m.) As a sequel to the fire at Storrio's joinerv works it was discovered that burglars 'had endeavored to Mow open the safe. Two explosions wore heard by residents shortly before the fire was discovered. A FATAL QUARREL. MURDER CHARGE PREFERRED. ADELAIDE, August 16. (Received August 16, at 9.55 a.m.) As tho result of tho death of Michael Joseph Evan after an altercation, John Andrews jelley, a farm laborer, has been arrested on a charge of murder.
