It will bo of an international character, as the machine is Dutch, the pilot an Argentinian (Major Pedro Zanni), and the observer is Lieutenant Nelson Pago. A British Napier engine will bo used. Major Zanni has bought three aeroplanes for the attempt. Ho will follow a route similar to that of Squadron-leader Maclarou’s.—Reuter.

Cabinet ha.s decided that the dominion High Commissioners ami a Canadian Senator shall attend the Allied Conference debates.—Reuter. ARRANGEMENT EXPLAINED. LONDON, July 13. (Received July 19, at 12.40 p.m.) In the House of Commons Mr J. H. Thomas announced that it had been settled that a representative of any dominion so desiring it, and also of India, may become a member of the Empire delegation at the conference on the panel system. A representative bo appointed may attend the conference when it is not sitting on a membership basis. This is to ensure that the dominions’ representatives shall be fully acquainted with all the proceedings of the conference. The plan adopted is a special one for this particular conference, and is not to be regarded as a precedent. Senator Bolcourt, the Canadian representative, would take, his place on the panel with the other members representing their particular dominions.—Reuter. MACDAREN AND COLLEAGUES ALL WELL. TOKIO, July 18. (Received July 19, at noon.) All the members of Maclaren’s party are well, and the machine is intact. They landed at Urupp Island on July 16 owing to a denso fog.
