Xo alteration of the clocks for summer time will induce ducks to depart from their notorious regularity of habit. This is curiously manifested among the 482 ducks taking part in the national laying test at Bentley, Suffolk. I’.efore the clocks wore put forward their feeding hour was 5 p.ni., and for a quarter of an hour before that they were clamoring at the gate loading to their jams. Now at that hour hv summer lime they refuse to come to ho feii. Therefore automatically their feeding time has become 6 p.m.
