A Parliamentary reply shows that 137 persons in Great Britain have incomes exceeding £IOO,OOO 'each, 127 bet.weon £75,000 and £IOO,OOO ; 278 between £50.000 and 875.0C0; 291 between £40.000 and £50,000; 6,927 between £IO.OOO and ' £40,000. Those who pay super-lax number 84,589, and have an aggregate income of £497.000,000.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
