EAILWAYMEN’S REQUEST. [Pkh United Pnr.ss Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, January 17. A meeting of the Canterbury branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants decided to request the Executive Council to place before tho Government the recent increases in the cost of living, and to request tho Minister to adjust wages to the agreement made by tho Wages Board set up by tho Prime Minister and the society in February, 1921.
