COURTESY TO POLITICAL OPPONENTS. , SCORNED BY RUSSIAN NEWSPAPER. Press* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PETROGRAD, January 14. The newspaper ‘ Pravda ’ was .moved to bitter contempt over the opening session of the House of Commons, particularly the episodes in which Mr Ramsay MacDonald shook hands with Mr Lloyd George and Mr Baldwin, and accompanied the former to the House of Lords. It declares; “In Russia. Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, 'Spain, and other countries there is civil war between the workers and their oppressors, but not so in good old England, whore, despite their ' suffering'’, the workers tolerate leaders who embrace the world’s most cunning bourgeoisie.”—A. and N.Z. Cable.
