BURNS ANNIVERSARY

The programme arranged by the Dunedin Burns Club to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns will bo an appropriate one. An address will be given by the Rev. E. N. Memngton, M.A., Ph.D., , of First Church, who recently arrived from Brisbane. Mr and Mrs Farquhar Young, of Christchurch, will also appear. The box plan will open at Begg’s on Thursday, and patrons are advised to book early. The festival will be held in His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday, January 24. A dance will follow in the Victoria Hall.
