11 As good ns married ” is the term sometimes used by women when applying for a maintenance order at the Magistrate's Court (says the Auckland 'Star'). A rather .singular instance was related by a woman at the court on Friday last, tho woman having Jived with a man ns his wife for eighteen years. The man sent her to Auckland, for her health, and she slated that he had oincc eloped with a married woman twenty-two years of age.
