LONDON, July 23. Tbs Bradford wool market is dull. Quotations aro nominal and unchanged. —A. and N.Z. Cable. SALE OF SHEEPSKINS. The Dunedin Woolbrokcrs’ Association reports as* follows: The usual fortnightly sheepskin sale was held yesterday, and medium-sized catalogues were offered to a full attendance of buyers. Competition was erratic, and prices were easier on late ruling rates, which showed a drop of 11,d to 2d a lb on last sale’s rates. The prices were as follow;—Half-bred full-wool, to 15d; half-bred half-wool, 10Jd to 12d; fine cross-bred full-wool, ll£-d to 12|d; fine cross-bred half-wool, 9£d to to lOgd; crossbred full-wool, 9J,d to 10|d; crossbred half-wool, 7-Jd to 9sd; cross-bred quarter-wool, 6d to 63d; half-bred lambs, to IU-d; cifiss-hred lambs, 91,-d to lOd; half-bred dead, 9J,d to cross-bred dead, to 73d; pelts, 4d to 6|d. MEAT FROM SOUTH AMERICA, The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board now has an agent in’ South America from whom it will receive regular information. This will enable the board to publish fortnightly coimr.umnucs showing tho quantity of meat shipped by South America to the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe or elsewhere from time to time. The shipments from South America, to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended the 14t!i inst. were 192,252 quarters chilled beef, 32,821 quarters frozen beef, 40,635 carcasses mutton, 82,439 carcasses lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled 70,552 quarters frozen beef, 13,389 carcasses mutton. The killings for the last six months represent an increase compared with the previous season nf 52 per cent, a.s '.o cattle, .and a decrease of 11 per cent, as to sheep. The extent of the recent shipments to the Continent of Europe is encouraging.
