SHOCKS AT LOS ANGELES. KINEMA STARS ON THE RUN. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, July 23. (Received July 24, at 8.55 a.m.) A telegram from Los Angeles states that two severe earthquake shocks were felt in the city early this morning. They lasted for 6sec. They threw pedestrians oil their feel and cracked walls, but no injuries or serious damage have been reported. Many well-known film stars fieri from their homes at Hollywood, where the shocks were particularly severe.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
