ME H. H, OAEE APPOINTED JUDGE,

WELLINGTON, July 23.
Mr IT. H. Carr, registrar of the Native Land Court at Gisborne,_ has been appointed a judge of the Native Land Coin.', Prior to his appointment as registrar Mr Carr was in the Native Land Purchase Office. He is one of the Urewera Commissioners.
