WIRELESS CONCERT

On Thursday evening another successful concert was broadcasted from Mr F. J. O’Neill’s “ 4FA ” station. A new set of valves was brought into operation. During the evening many rang, and the music as received by them could bo distinctly heard through the ’phone. The following items were broadcasted Piano, 'Gem of Scotland,’ Gulbransen; solo, ‘A Farewell,’ Mr Ray Butler; violin solo, ‘Shepherd’s Dance,’ Mr W. Cotkburn ; monologue, ‘ 1 laymate,’ Miss V. Ferry; piano, ’Blue Danube,’ Guibransen; solo, ‘ She is Far from the Land,’ Mr Spiers; solo, ‘Angels Guard Thee,’ Mrs damson; piano, ‘Arabian Love,’ Gulbransen ; soio, ‘ That’s Plow the World was Made,’ Miss Pearl O’Neill; Kentucky whistle solo, ‘Just a Little Love,’ Mr Lanrarn; solo, ‘Here’s to Love,’ Miss Pickering; piano, ‘Favorite Scotch Songs,’ Gulbransen; solo, ‘1 hear Vou Calling Me,’ Mrs Samson; solo, ‘A Farewell,’ Mr Spiers; piano, ‘Second Mazurka,’ Gnlbram-eu; violin solo, ‘Mazurka,’ Mr Cockbura; solo, ‘The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond,’ Mrs Samson; piano, ‘ Sailor's Hornpipe,’ Gulbransen; solo, ‘0 Sole Mio,’ Miss Pickering; piano, ‘The Silvery Brook,’ Gulbransen; solo, ‘ That Wonderful Mother of Mine,’ Miss Pearl O’Neill. The accompaniments were again ably played by Mr A. Harrison.
