Very heavy firing was heard between 11 o’clock and midnight all over the city. The principal military barracks were attacked and several Free State patrols were sniped at from the roofs. LONDON, May 19 (Received May 21, at 1 a.m.) A convention of 200 delegates at Leeds decided to wind up the United Irish League. Mr T. P. O’Connor said he thought that there should be a now organisation to effect a reunion of all parte in Ireland, nob by violent but by constitutional means.
