MARSHAL FOOTS REPORT.

Marshal Foch has returned from Poland and Czecho-Slovakia. He states that the Polish army has all of its old-time brilliant qualities, and is steadily assimilating methods of discipline. Poland is a strong bulwark. Even if Russia wanted to attack Poland, she would not be dangerous for some years, and it would bo a long time before Germany would venture to attack an ally of France. “ The Czecho-Slovaldan army,” said Marshal Foch, “was less brilliant than that,of Poland, but it had great technical knowledge. The Czechs wore carefully watching Hungary. Ho did not think that they wore wrong. Hungary needed watching for soiqe years, ns ideas of revenge were being fomented,”—A. and N.Z. Cable. Krassin has transmitted to Moscow the details of his interview with Lord Curzon. They were accompanied by a personal recommendation that the substance of the British demands should be accepted.—A. and N.Z. Cable. FRENCH MILITARY MEASURES, THREE MORE ARRESTS. BERLIN, May 20. (Received May 21, at 11.40 a.m.) The German authorities seized a French aeroplane whHi was forced to land at Nuremburg miring its journey from Prague.
