BRILLIANCY OF HAGEN. NEvTyORK, April 10. Hagen’s victory in tiio North and South open golf championship has clinched hl« recognition as the most spectacular performer in the game, according to the views of New York sporting writers. Hagen, and his Australian touring partner, J. H. Kirkwood, cleared tip all the major events in the winter and spring seasons from coast to epast. Hagen’s most sensational feat was his phenomenal round of sixty-two for eighteen holes in the Bellesci (Florida) contest, while his general average for twenty tournament rounds was seventy.
