(5 p.m.), 1,172 tons, Anderson, from Bluff. SAILED.—ApriI 23. Chatham, H.M.S. (9 a.m.), 5,400 tom, Commodore Hotham, for Auckland via Lyttelton. Berwickshire, s.s, (2.10 p.nhjj 7,582 tons, Evans, for Bluff. No work was carried out on the Dunedin waterfront to-day owing to rain. The Corinna has been fixed to load at Dunedin on May 2 for way ports and New Plymouth, The Kakapo will load at Greymouth on Thursday for Lyttelton and Timaru. The Kahika arrived at Port Chalmers last evening from Bluff. She steamed up to Dunedin this morning to discharge a quantity of cheese and load for way ports and Now Plymouth. The Katoa is to leave Auckland on Friday for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due hero about May 2, and after discharge will load for east coast ports and Auckland. The Kaimanawa is expected to leave Aucldand to-day for Wellington and Westport. The Wffiangape is due at Dunedin about Thursday from Newcastle and Sydney via Lyttelton. After discharge she will undergo survey at Port Chalmers. The Kaitoke is expected to leave Sydney to-day for Fiji and Aucldand. The Scottish-Shire liner Berwickshire left Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon for Bluff and northern ports to complete he loading for the United Kingdom. Tho Shaw-Savill liner Raranga arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon from WMnganui roadstead to load apples, wool, and dairy produce for England. She will subsequently go to Bluff, then Lyttelton and Wellington to complete her lording. The Breeze, which arrived here last evening from Wanganui and Lyttelton, is to sail to-day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and WMnganui. The Wanaka is duo at Dunedin op Friday morning from Bluff, and is listed to sail the same day for Wellington. Napier, and Auckland via ports. The Gale is due at Dunedin on Saturday from Lyttelton, and is listed to sail the same day for Wellington and Wanganui via ports. Tho Kaikorai is still waiting at Newcastle to load coal for Dunedin. The Kamo is to sail on Thursday for Westport, where she will load for Oamarn and Dunedin. The Reardon-Smith Line steamer Bradford City loft Supine, Texas, on April 5 for Auckland, where she is due on May 10. She is bringing general cargo and case nil for discharge at Auckland, and will afterwards proceed to Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Wallaroo, and Fremantle.

The Kaikoura, loading for Home ports to the agency of tho New Zealand Shipping Company, wag to leave Opua on Saturday for Auckland to complete her loading.' The vessel is expected to sail from Auckland on April 27 for London via Montevideo and Las Palmas.

THE FERRY SERVICE, The Wahine. arrived at Lyttelton at 7.10 a.m. to-day from Wellington, and mails and passengers connected with the 8.45 express for the south. CARGO FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA. The Kaiapoi was due at Melbourne on Saturday from Grcymouth. After discharge of her timber cargo she will load at Adelaide, Edithburg, and Melbourne for Auckland, Whangarei, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Tho Kaitima was to leave Melbourne on Saturday for Adelaide, Fremantle, Bunbnry, and Wallaroo to load for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. RUAHINE’S SAILING DATE. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the departure of the Ruahine from Wellington for Southampton and London has been postponed from to-day until Thursday morning. INCOMING SAN FRANCISCO MAIL. The Union Steam Ship Company advises that tho mail steamer Mannganui, which cleared San Francisco at noon on Friday last for Whdlingten and Sydney via ports, is expected to arrive at Wellington on Friday, May 5. THE CITY OF BOMBAY. The Federal Company advises that the steamer City of Bombay, which has been delayed at Napier, is duo at Wellington to-day. From Wellington she proceeds to Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian ports to discharge the remainder of her general cargo f mi New York. MIDDLESEX LEAVES COLON. A cable message received by tho New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Middlesex arrived at Colon on April 13 from Liverpool, and sailed on April 14 for the four leading New Zealand ports. The vessel is expected f-t Auckland on May 6, and at Dunedin about May 18. ATHENTC AT SOUTHAMPTON. Advice lias been received by tho Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company that the steamer Athenic, which left Wellington on March 10 for Southampton and London, arrived at the former port on April 19. NORTH AMERICAN CARGO. The New Zealand Shipping Company is advised by cable that the steamer Athoil left the Tyne ("England) on April 17 for Louisburg and St. John to load general cargo for New Zealand and Australia. TREDINNICK LEAVES ST. JOHN. Cable news received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that tho steamer Trcdinnick left St. John on April 13 with cargo for New Zealand and Australian ports. The vessel is due at Aucldand about May 21, and at Dunedin about Juno 2. lONIC FOR WELLINGTON. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company advises that the, steamer lonic, which sailed from London on'April 18Tor New Zealand ports, cleared Southampton on April 19. She has passengers and cargo, and is expected to arrive at Wellington about May 27, From there she will proceed to Lyttelton. PASSENGERS BY THE MOERAKI. The following passengers reached Dunedin on Sunday by the Union liner Moeraki :—From 'Melbourne : Misses Hogg (2), M'Kay, Mrs Little, Messrs Murphy, Buckley, Little, Blue. Coastal; Miss Orr, Mesdames Rattray, Martin and infant, Ferguson, Messrs Cormick, R-cu-shaw, Martin, and six adults and five children steerage from all ports. The Mocraki brought 2,182 tons of cargo for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is expected to complete discharge hero to-day. She will then go to Port Chalmers to dock for survey. The vessel is scheduled to leave Dunedin on May 5 for Bluff and Melbourne. A 12..009-TON MOTOR SHIP. The 12,000-ton motor ship Missourian, built by Win.
