CHURCH OF CHRIST CONFERENCE
[Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 2. At the Church of Christ Conference, the foreign missions report- was discussed, and many additions were reported, with a great need for white workers. It was decided to cable Mr and Mrs Classen to take up work immediately in Bulowayo. Foreign Missions Committees were elected for Auckland. Wellington, and Dunedin, with Air J. I. Wright (Dunedin) as general secretary. . At a session -devoted to Bible school work, Mr 11. Callan (Auckland) presided. The New Scholar Shield was won from Roslyn hv Iho Vivian Street Church of Christ. 'The Teachers’ Attendance Banner was wen liy .Invercargill, with an attendance of 99 per cent*. Nelson and Invercargill had a great number of prizewinners. Veslerday a united Communion service was held at which there was a big attendance. The conference sermon was delivered by Mr Ralph Gebbic (Auckland). A fortnight .-, mission commenced yestercve.
