MR MASLIN’S CANDIDATURE.

TO THB EDITOR. Sir, —Air Maslin’a political career, it appears to me. might be likened to a game of musical chairs, with Air Alaslin the slowest iu each successiyonrush for places. In view of his record, his hope of success in the present campaign, seems to be no brighter than at any time in the past twenty odd years. It is therefore necessary to warn the electors of Dunedin Central that every vote given to Mr Maslin is equivalent to a vote for the Reds. This being so, it would l bo well for all those who do not desire a Socialist victory to cast their votes for Air Sf-athara, and even for tho admirers of Mr' Alaslin to seriouslv consider whether they will endanger the nuti-Socdalist cause'by giving him sympathy votes.—l am, etc., Better Be Sure Than bonny. December 1.
