RELIEF, IN NEAR EAST
HELP FROM AUSTRALIA. LONDON, November 15. A new arrangement between the United States and Australia for relief work m the Near East has been inaugurated with the opening of the first. Australian orphanage, for I/100 Armenian, refugee children, at Beirut (Syria), says a message trom Athens. , , The orphanage belongs to the American relief system, but has an Australian staff and ia supported by Australian funds. Tho director is Mr Kmidscn, of Christchurch, and he is assisted by Mrs Knudscn and Mrs Hilda King, of Melbourne.
