Thu Arbitration Court further heard at Wellington to-day the coastal seamen's case. Evidence was given by Mr W. D. H, Bennett (Kapiti Stcam-i s!iip Company), who adhered firmly to tho employers’ wage proposals, and opposed tho idea of payment hy the day.
