OVERSEA MAILS
MAUNGANUI’S DUE ON MONDAY. The postal authorities advise that European and American mails which reached Wellington last evening by the Maunganui from San Eranisco will be despatched from thatport by the cargo steamer Kahika, sailing at 5 p.m. today direct for Dunedin. The local portion of the mail comprises eightyeight bags from the United Kingdom ami fortv-one from the United States. The Kahika should arrive on Monday morning, in which case the letter portion ortho mail will bo delivered in the city and suburbs in tlio__ afternoon. Tho Maunganui brought 1,103 bags for New Zealand.
