As a result of a shooting accident a young man named W. F. Lynskey was admitted to the Christchurcli nospital and underwent an operation yesterday morning for the amputation of his right arm. liynskey, who is on the staff of the Bank of Xew Zealand at Rangiora, is well known as a Is'orth Canterbury footballer. Annie Donaldson, forty years of age, single, was found dead in the Leeston Show Grounds, Canterbury.
