North Island: Heavy, 10|d; light, 10-d. New Zealand Cross-bred Mutton-.—Can-terbury: Heavy, sjd; light, 6|rd. Xorth Island: Heavy, 4Jd; light, s|d. Demand runs principally on light weights. New Zealand Prime Ox Beef.—Hinds, 4£d; lores, 3d. Demand better. GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

Messrs Donald Reid and Co., Ltd., report : Oats. —Tho business in this cereal is limited to lines suitable for millers. There is very little shipping demand. We quote A Gartons, 2s 6d; B Gartens, 2s 3d; undergrade, Is Sd to 2s ex store (sacks extra). Wheat.—Millers are not operating freely, and are taking only first-class lines. Fowl wheat is slow of sale. Potatoes—There is a good for freshly-picked potatoes, tree from blight, at £6: others, £4 10s to £5 10s. Chaff—The market is a little easier. Prime black oat, £4 12s 6d; good to best feed, £4 5s to £4 10s; medium, light, and discolored, £2 10s to £4 (sacks extra). Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows : „ Oats.—There is' no alteration in the market. The demand is rather quiet, and prices are unchanged. We quote: —A Gartons, 2s 6cl; B Gartons, 2s 3d; undergrade from Is 6d per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes. —Prime lines are not too plentiful, and the demand is firm at £6 per ton (sacks in). Chaff.—Heavier supplies and a weaker market have resulted in a slight easing of values. Prime oaten sheaf is worth £4 12s 6d, and good to best feed £4 5s to £4 10s. Light and inferior 'lines are selling at from £2 10s per ton (sacks extra). SALES ON ’CHANGE: THIS DAY.
