BRISBANE, August IS.—Tho Premier (Mr Theodors) gave not ice of his intention, to introduce a Bill to enable absent members of Parliament, on supplying a medical certificate, to vote by proxy. _ ADELAIDE, August 18.—Two thousand clothing employees have ceased work in consequence of their employers’ threat to reduce wages. PERTH, Augustlß Mr Walker has withdrawn his motion ot censure on the Government.
