A NEGLECTED ROAD.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —After making a visit to tho Southern Reservoir to see the work that is going on there, I would like to warn other visitors not to make tho trip via Green Island. It is no doubt a. beautiful walk around the water race in that direction, but- unfortunately one has to pass through a regular bog in what I believe ia called Reid street, Green Island. _ One would hardly expect to find a. road in such a condition *jn close proximity to the railway station in the borough. I would suggest to the Borough Council that this road lie made passable. I wonder what the residents think.—l am, etc,, Bogged. July 24.
