WINDOW SMASHING JUSTIFIED
TO EMPHASISE THE WORKERS’ CONDITIONS. [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 26. William Parker pleaded guilty in court to-day to smashing plate-glass windows in the premises of Stewart Dawson. Ltd., valued at £35, and was committed for sentence. Ho made a statement vindicating the advocacy of violence in drawing attention to the condition of the workers. The unemployed, ho said, had no other power.
