It is understood that Mr Dooley moved at the caucus during lust Tve©k calling on. Mr M‘Girr to substantiate his charges at the recent conference against ex-Mmisters. The discussion was adjourned till Tuesday. The Labor Party’s Executive in the meantime oredre the caucus to drop the matter. It is suggested that some members will refuse to do this, and that they intend to defy tho executive. It is also suggested that feelers were thrown out by the moderates wi'Ji a view to joining tho Progressives, but that contingency is unlikely.
