NEWCASTLE STEEL INDUSTRY.
NEWCASTLE, July 17. (Received July 17, at 11 a.m.) The manager of the Commonwealth Steel Products Company states that since the alterations in the awards, together with the sacrifices made by the company, he is able to reduce, to _ the English_Axnerican level, x’csultmg in an impetus to the trade, which will enable the company to re-employ practically the whole of the staff which* was engaged before the depression.
