Tho first and second ('nidifying rounds were played olf yesterday, and the first round of tho championship was contested this morning, and the semi-finals will l>e played to-morrow morning. A putting competition and a Bogey Handicap Match, for which there were thirty-six juries, were in progress this ailernoon.
