The Calm, which arrived at Dunedin early this morning from Bluff, is listed to sail to-night for Wellington and Wanganui via ports. The Kahika, which arrived hero this afternoon from Wellington, will sail on Monday for Nelson and Now Plymouth via ports. Tho Wanaka is duo at Dunedin to-mor-row morning from Bluff. She is listed to sail on Monday for East Coast ports and Auckland. The. Kini is due hero about Thursday next from Gisbomo. She has been fixed to load at this port and also at Oama-ru, Timaru, and Lyttelton for Gisbomo and Napier (inner harbors).

The O. and D. liner Port Bowen is nowlisted to leave Port Chalmers on Monday afternoon for Lyttelton to continue Homeward loading. The Breeze, which arrived hero this afternoon from Lvttelton, is fixed to sail on Monday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Picten, and Wanganui. Tho Kylebeg, which is being cleaned and painted,' will probably como out of dock at Port Chalmers on Monday. The Waihora left Newcastle on Sunday host for Nauru and Ocean Islands to load ■phosphates for Auckland. About 6.000 tons are expected to be available, and this will \jO discharged at Auckland early in April. The Melanesian mission steamer Southern Cross will probably bo fitted out in time to leave Auckland on her next trip to the Melanesian mission stations in the Pacific about the second week in April. It is reported that the Union Company's steamer Flora, which has been laid up for several months at Auckland, "rill probably ho recommissioned and sail for the Eastern Pacific about the end of this month.

The Federal steamer Sussex, with a cargo of New Zealand produce, sailed from Auckland at 11 a.m. on Tuesday for Boston and New 'Fork.

Tho Japanese steamer Rciyo Marn, wbk . loaded a part cargo at Auckland and completed at southern ports, sailed from Lyttelton at midday on Tuesday for London. Tho Port Adelaide is scheduled to leave Wellington on March 24 for London via Montevideo, The Tekoa is timed to sail from Liverpool on March 25 with general cargo fox New Zealand ports. Tho Kamo, which is duo at Lyttelton to-morrow from tho Chathams with a load of sheep, will make a further trip to tho Elands to load sheep for Timaru. The transpacific steamer Waihoroo, in command of Captain A. 0. Showman, is duo at Lyttelton on Monday from Auckland to continue discharge of her American cargo, consisting chiefly of case oil and timber. She will clear her holds at Dunedin, Melbourne, Sydney, and Newcastle.

The Wafkouaiti was despatched from Lvttelton on Thursday evening for Sydney direct, where she will load generaJ cargo for Bluff, Dunedin, and Lyttelton. She is carrying a consignment of wool for Japan. Tho vessel will also load coal at Newcastle for Lyttelton. Tho Port Chalmers, en route from Lyttelton to New York and London, Is reported as having arrived at Panama on March 13.

Tho New Zealand Shipping Company advises that tho Tasmania, en route from the United Kingdom to Melbourne, arrived at Adelaide on March 11. Sho is expected to leave Australia on April 5 to load Homewards in New Zealand.

It was announced in Wellington on Wednesday that the purchase of the barque Raupo by the Canterbury Steamship Company had been completed. The barque will 'probably bo tewed by the Gale next week to Lyttelton, where she will be dismantled and converted into a hulk.

Tho New Zealand Shipping Company advises that tho Orari is to leave Napier to-day for Auckland to complete her loadiag. She is expected to leave Auckland on the 24th inst. for London via Montevideo. The Federal Lino advises that the Somerset is to leave Napier _ to-day for Wanganui roadstead and Wellington. The vessel, is to sail from tho latter port, on the 25th inst. for Avonmonth, Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow. THE FERRY SERVICE.

Tho Wahine arrived at Lyttelton at > 7 a.in. to-day from Wellington, and mails and passengers connected with tho express for the south. THE CITY OF HANKOW. The A. and A. Lino’s steamer City of Hankow is to leave Lyttelton to-day for Dunedin to discharge about 1,000 tons_ of general cargo from New York, including a quantity of caso oil. PORT DENISON REPORTED. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Denison, on route from New York, loft Panama on March 14 for Auckland. _Sho is now oxpcctel at Auckland oa April 6, and at Dunedin about April 20. WIRELESS FROM COEINTHIO. A wireless message received by tho local agents for tho Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company from the captain of tho Corinthic states that tho vessel will omw at Wellington to-morrow evening _ from Southampton. 'He Corinthic is bringing a largo number of passengers for New Zealand. She is not bringing any cargo. Tho Corinthic will load at Bluff, Lyttelton, and Wellington for London. THE SYDNEY STEAMER. The Union Company’s steamer Manuka left Sydney on Thursday afternoon direct for Wellington, where she is due on Monday. The Manuka is set down, to rail from Wellington on the return trip to Sydney on March 23. WO 0 D EN~SHAMeF BRO XTON. It was stated on Thursday on good authority that tho wooden steamer Broxton, tho sale of which was reported on Wednesday, is to bo used by her new owner as a linlk for copra (says tho Christchurch ‘Press’). The sailing elate of tho vessel from Lyttelton is not yet announced, CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. Tho Kaituna, duo at Lyttelton on Wednesday from Australian ports via Auckland, ' Whangarci, and Wellington, will have a part cargo for discharge, including sleepers, salt, and general merchandise. She will sail tho following day for Dunedin, where the balance of her freight will be discharged. THE CANADIAN SPINNER. Eu route from New York, the Canadian. Government steamer Canadian Spinner is to leave Auckland to-day for Wellington, Dunedin, Bluff, and Australian porta to discharge tho remainder of her American cargo. JAPANESE SHIPPING TRADE. The Japanese shipping company, known as the Yamasliita Risen, of Kobe, which recently opened up steamship services from tlie Pacific Coast parts to Australia, and from the Commonwealth direct, to Japan, is widening its sphere of operations. , Advices received recently by the oydncy agent for the line, from the head 011100 in Kobe, intimated that the company. with the subscribed capital oil twenty million yen, will take over the assets' and liabilities of the Yamasliita Mining Company, Ltd., as a going concern, as from March 15, 1922. Tho amalgamated company will he conducted under the name and stylo of Yamasliita K iron Kogvo Kabushiki Kaisha (tho Yamashita Steamship and Mining Company, Ltd.), with the capital of thirty million yen fully paid up. INCOMING SAN FRANCISCO MAIL. The mail steamer Tahiti is due_at Wellington on March 25 from San Francisco via Papeete and Rarotonga. Tho Union Company advises that the vessel will leave Wellington on Monday, March 27, for Sydney. TRELOSKE DUE TO-MORROW. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. advise that the steamer Treloske, 5,767 tons, is doe nt Port Chalmers to-morrow from Lyttelton. She will load wool for Man,olicater and Liverpool, and will call about Tuesday for Bluff and Wellington to complete her loading. PORT HUNTER LAUNCHED. A cablegram from London, states that the new Commonwealth and Dominion, liner Port Hunter, 8,423 tons, has been launched at Belfast. WAIWERA FOR AMERICA. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Waiwera arrived at Port Chalmers late this afternoon from Lyttelton. The vessel will load a quantity of wool and ether cargo, and will sail early next week for Bluff and Wellington to complete loading. She will be despatched from Wellington about March 31 for Boston, Now York, and London via Panama, HUNTINGDON LEAVES LONDON. Cable advice received by tho New Zealand Shipping Company states that the steamer Huntingdon left London on March 15, cargo laden, for Wellington and Lyttelton. She is duo at Wellington about April 30. RBMUERaTrOM SOUTHA MPTON. Duo at Auckland to-morrow from London and Southampton, too Now Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera will subsequently visit Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin to discharge part cargo.
