WILSON—RANKIN.

A very pretty wedding took place at First Church on Tuesday, February 28, when Miss Margaret (Peggy) Rankin, youngest daughter of Mrs R. Rankin, late of Wedderburn, was married to Mr Joseph Wilson, of Dunedin, the Rev. Graham Balfour officiating. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr A. M’Lennan, wore a dainty frock of ivory charraeuso prettily worked with pink and white beads. Her veil of net and lace, which was attached to her hair with a coronet of orange blossoms, was daintily embroidered with beads, and she carried a beautiful shower bouquet of pink and white asters and maidenhair fern. Mbs Evelyn Esquilant attended as bridesmaid, and wore a pretty frock of heliotrope crepe do chine ..with side drapings, a hat of lemon tagel straw, trimmed with colors to match, and carried a bouquet of heliotrope and white asters and-.fern, and wore a gold bangle, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr T. Simpson acted as host man. After the ceremony the guests-ad-journed to Kroon’s Hall, where the wed ding breakfast was partaken of, the usuc toasts being honored. Later in the da the young couple left by motor for th<--honeymoon, the bride wearing a sinar braided saxe blue costume, with hat to match, and a handsome fur stole, the gift of the bridegroom. The young couple were the recipients of many valuable presents, from relatives and friends from ail' parts of the Dominion.
