At a meeting of tho Auckland Electric Power Board the mayor stated that tho Minister of Works had signed a document under which the board shall undertake lo purchase the whole of its requirements from tlio department wlien power from Arapuni is available, end shall guarantee to pay the department £105,000 per annum. which represents the price of 15,000 k.w. Tho Government undertakes to commence work forthwith, end to deliver Ihe power at Penrose on April 1, 1923. Tho
