JUVENILE COURT

The story of a rather daring burglary committed by a boy of fourteen, with the assistance ot a boy of sixteen, was heard in the Juvenile Court this afternoon. The boy of fourteen, living with his parents, stole £l4 belonging to a boarder. He told tho older boy about tho theft, and tho elder boy asked him if ho had left tho house in a disturbed slate, as a burglar might do. The younger boy said ho had not, and tho other lad went out to the homo, disarranged tilings, and left tho door open, and on return received £2 for his assistance. Tho police being informed of the matter, tho boy of fourteen admitted to a detective that he was guilty. Tho boy who stole Urn money was admonished and discharged on tho understanding that his lather gave him a thrashing. The older boy, who received £2, was convicted and discharged, and ordered to corao up for sentence" any time until bo was twenty-one. and was placed under tho control of Mr Axelsen.

It was reported that iho money had been refunded by the father of tho younger boy.
