FIFTY YEARS OF PRINTING
Next Saturday evening, at tho Burt Hall, Technical' College, our distinguished American visitor, Air Charles Francis, of New York, intends giving an illustrated moving and still’picture, exhibition and lecture on printing. Mr Francis has been connected with printing for over fifty years, and from a humble beginning in these parts ho is now the head of one of the largest printing establishments in New York, his building Icing a sky-scraper of twentv-two stories. 11c is, therefore, in a position to speak with authority on both olden-day and modern printing, and his illustrations will cover all the intervening periods light up to date, where in America tho most modern machinery is used. The lecture and illustrations promise to be extremely interesting and educative. A cordial invitation is given to tho general public to got some idea of how printing is done. Admission will bo hoc.
