(Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 28. .Ait' Thames a deputation of- minors waited on the Hon. (■■. J. Andeisson Last night. and asked that the Government should buy n. crushing plant for the treatment of ores found by prospectors and email miners, as no plant was now available. One was for sale, and it war suggested that the Government should purchase it and place it in the School of Mines, The Minister said lie realised the importance of encouraging tho prospector. The difficulty was finance. He asked for data as to the likely amount to bo offered for crusliing, etc., and he would try to got tho money to provide the plant.
