■ The management of the King's announce a complete change of programme for to-morrow evening, when ' Virtuous Wives ' will be the " piece de resistance." 'Virtuous "Wives' was the story selected to celebrate Anita Stewart's initial performance under the aegis the First National eodubrtoxs. In this" play Anita is the young wife who occupies herself, dining an enforced .period of separation from her "husband, in "playing," in. accordance with his wishes, he feeing occupied: in the more serious-task of amassing wealth. The " playing'' is along rihe lines usually practised in. society, and leads to complications .when the husband is warned of his wife's danger.
