At the Presbyterian General Assembly tcday tbe Chaplains Cotami&bae roported tbat they had adopted tho foDawmg-resolution;— "That while sympatMang -with the desire, to abolish titles in tho case of chaplains, tbe committee are strongly of opinion tbat the status of chaplains as officers should be maintained with all the privileges now enjoyed. The committee fully recognised the great changes which had taken place in connection with national defence, and the still greater changes -which may be expected, but hope that by prudent action- the rights of chaplains will ba maintained ami their opportunities for service preserved and increased." Tho report was adopted.
