COAL MINERS' DEMANDS
THE 25 PER CENT. INCREASE. TROUBLE AT BLACKBALL MINE. [P»i Unitk'd Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 22. The original announcement that the Miners' Federation were making a demand of 25 per cen*,. increase in the rates of pay, to date from March 1, was due to a typing error. It is proposed that the increase should date from November 1 Serious trouble is threatened in the Blackball mine over the alleged victimisation of men who have taken or are taking a_prominent part in federation and union affairs.
