The Hon. D. T. Fleming left Dunedin this morning for Wellington. Mr Walter Bowles, district railways traflic manager, -went to Oamaru to-day. . Mr D. _ Aiken, general manager -Union Steam Ship Company, left this morning on a trip to Wellington on business. Mr T. Thomson, a master baker of Christchui'ch, prominent here in bygone days as a bowler, has been, on a visit to Dunedin, and returned to-day. Mr J. E. Henrys, D. j.C. handicapper, left to-day for Wellington. Major Gunn, in charge of the Dugedin district of the Salvation Army, went to Oamaru to-day to introduce Adjutant Charker, who has come from Christchurch to take the position of secretary to tha young people's work.
