DUNEDIN CENTRE COMPETITIONS. The annual competitions under the auspices of the Otago branch of the Piping and Dancing Association of New Zealand were continued yesterday, and attracted n large attendance at the Burns Hall. Following are tlie results of Yesterday's contests:— Sailor's Hornpipe, bovs over 8 and under 12. One entry.—Jack Mayhew (Invercargill) l._ Sword Dance (championship of Otago), girls over 18. Nine entries.—Winnie Robinson 1, Flora Shaw 2, Daisy M'Lellan (Wellington) 5, Drucy Turner 4. Highland Reel (juvenile championship of Otago), girls under 18. Twenty-nine entries.—Beulah King 1, Tuppy Sutherland 2, Owen Ritchie (Timaru) 3, Thelma M'Kenzie (Wellington) 4. • Irish .Jig (cha.npionship of Otago), men. Eight emtries.—A. E.
