EMPIRE. Specially delightful are the various items that go to the making up of the current programme at the Empire, Theatre. In addition to a finely-selected budget of musical and vocal items by the Charles Smythc Concert Party, there is screened a pictorial list that sets a high standard. EVERYBODY’S. Another delighted attendance this afternoon witnessed Madge Evans in 1 A Home Wanted,’ tho piece de resistance at Everybody’s Theatre. A new chapter of the Alan of Alight’ serial is tho main adjunct. PLAZA All the elements that make for Interest and satisfaction arc combined in the current picture list at the Plaza. The special film is ‘ Mirandy Smiles,’ featuring Vivian Martin. Tho supports are good. OCTAGON. A particularly fine picture is being shown at the Octagon Theatre at present. Elsie Ferguson, in ‘ Eyes of the Soul,’ plays one of her best yet. The supplementary programme consists of well-selected items, and tho music is enjoyable. QUEEN’S. Patrons of tho Queen’s Theatre will have tho last opportunity this evening of seeing Alice Joyce and Harry Morey in ‘Within the Law.’ In accordance with custom a change will bo made to-morrow. KING’S. ‘ Pay Me,’ a powerful melodrama of the lumber camps and shack towns of the West, is the chief item at the above theatre. In this _ splendid Jewel production Dorothy Phillips plays.tho leading role. Tho supporting items, which include a comedy, are excellent. KING EDWARD. A remarkable adaptation of tho nopular novel 'A Burglar for a Night,’ with J. Warren Kerrigan as tho young man who, in order to save his father’s railroad, turns burglar, is the main picture. The supports arc good.
