r DUNEDIN’ STOCK EXCHANGE. The mining- market -was quiet at the first call over to-day. Talismans, Waihis, and Mount Lyells were the only shares quoted. In investments, the only inquiry for bank scrip was in Nationals, but no sellers were offering. Two parcels of New Zealand Refrigerating (cont.) changed hands at 29s 6d, closing with further buyers at 29s 4d and sellers at 29s 6d. New Zealand Paper Mills are firm, and were sought for at 37s 6d, but holders asked 38s 6d. New Zealand Hardwares are also strong, and two sales were booked at 17s 6d, more being wanted at T7s 3d, but sellers asked 17s 9d. Papuan Products were again in demand at 2s 6d, with a seller at 2s 7d.
