PRISONERS SENTENCED
[Pkb Ukited Press Association.] , ■ • WELLINGTON April 12. Henry Joseph Lewis, who pleaded guilty to escaping from custody, was sentenced to-day in the Supreme Court. There were many previous convictions against him, including breaking and entering and theft at Palmerston North and theft at Featherston. He.broke out of the Palmerston North lock-up on February 6. Bo was sentenced to sis months' hard labor. In the case of James Harold O'Brien, who pleaded guilty to nine charges of stealing passengers' luggage, valued at £176 19s, i,the~ medical report was that there was nothing wrong with his mental condition. He was sentenced to three years' reformative treatment.
