SOLDIERS' GRAVES.
TO THE SDII'OB Sir, —As Anzac Day is again approaching; would it not be fitting on the part of thj local Returned Soldiers' Association to have the graves of our soldiers buried • at Anderson Bay Cemetery properly attended to? At the present time a visit will show that these boys have been interred in a row without a distinguishing mark of any sort on the graves. The graves are not marked off in any way, and apart jrom one stone erected and a few flowers there is nothing to identify them from paupers* graves. If in France or Gallipoli these graves would all be marked off and suitable stones, with names, etc., erected by the Graves Commission; but here at our own door our dead heroes are neglected. Surely a concrete kerbing and suitable small headstones would not be an expensive item, and would certainly be a vast improvement on tho present" conditions.—l am, etc., ' Constant Visitor. April 12.
