MISHAP TO THE ROSAMOND
- ' TOUCHES BOTTOME? FRENCH PASS [Pek United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Match 29. llie Union Steam Ship Company received advice yesterday to tho effect that tho steamer Rosamond, which left Westport at 1 a.m. on Saturday, grounded on the northern s ide of French Pass at 4a m. on Sunday, and refloated without assistance seven hours later. The vessel came on to Wellington last night, it is not vet known whether the Rosamond suffered any great damage.
