In investmenta, the only business recorded was a sale of Huddarta at 52s Qd, the stock closing with further buyers at 52s 6& and a, seller at 53a 3d, Bank shares came- in for a fair amount of attention, but there were no inquiries for insurance scrip, Buyers of P. and Q, deferred have dropped back to £545, but spi!ler3 remain at £535. Dominion Rubbers (ex-div.), wiere sought for at 44s 6&, but no seller came forward ■under 475. The cont. issue of New Zealand Refrigerating have moved up a shade and 29s 5d was offered, but sellers asked 3d more. ' Daily Times* wer© to be had at 535, but buyers were only willing to give •525.
