CHRISTIAN MOTHERS’ CARNIVAL

The attendance was again good at Ills Majesty’s Theatre last night, and the spirit of the audience was such as to delight the heart of a theatrical manager, every item receiving a recall and many of them double recalls. The graceful dancing, the pretty dresses, and the limelight all came in for generous, recognition. The Old Boys’ Circus Quartet made the hit of the evening with their quaint limericks. Business was distinctly good, the .bevy of assistants seeing to it that no one was left without chances in some of the valuable articles. A large number of new articles are to hand, and the stalls are as bright and fresh as on the opening day. All the side shows are doing well, the lan filling parlor getting quite a large share of patronage.
