'THE SILVER KING' TO-NIGHT
Mi Allan Wilkie and Miss Frediswvdo J-lunter Watts, the eminent English artists and New Zealand's favorites, will make their reappearance to a Dunedin audience this evening at His Majesty's Theatre i'i the great play 'The Silver Kins;.' A period of some years has elapsed since, the oldfavorite was last seen in Dunedin, so tnat a new generation has grown up winch knows not Wilfred Denver, and it may be confidently expected that the revival will be a marked success. The plav is one which lends itself to some excellent characterisation, the Spider, Jackes, and Elijah Coomhes being almost classical of their kind. .Mr Wilkie has won praise for in.<> handling of the role of Wilfred Denver, _wh.de Miss Fred-iswyde Hunter Watte as Nellie Denver has been equally successful. 'The Silver King' will be staged for four nights only. Mr Wilkie's next big attraction t.vill be the romantic costume drama ' The Midnight Wedding.' The box plans are now at the Geyser, and day sales also.
